AD | Step Into Christmas With Boots

AD |  This post is in conjunction with Boots UK, but all thoughts are my own.

For as long as I can remember I have adored the process of finding the perfect gift, wrapping it beautifully and barely being able to keep it a secret because you're just so excited for your loved one to open it! This year all of that feels more important than ever before. Christmas absolutely isn't all about the presents but this year has been tough and I don't know about you but I'm really enjoying having the focus of buying gifts and knowing that regardless of what is happening in the world, I can make someone smile.

I've been buying Christmas presents at Boots for near enough all of my adult life now, their famous 3 for 2 offer means I can get a little more for my money and I can also pick up some Boots points to spend on myself later! Whether you're looking for gift sets or stocking fillers, Boots has it all. Over the years I've found them to offer more and more non-beauty related gifts too meaning I really can find something for everything with them. Today I wanted to share a Christmas Gift Guide with some of my picks that are guaranteed to put a smile on your loved one's face.

For the skincare lover

It's been quite some years since I've been a beauty blogger but behind the scenes I still love wearing makeup and I've become really interested in skincare in particular over the past few years. It's not unusual for me to spend 30 minutes just browsing the new skincare in Boots! This Origins Skincare Superstars set is exactly the kind of gift set I would love to find under the tree as someone who loves trying out new products. With a value of just over £82.50 it is also ridiculously good value for money at only £35! It includes some of Origins best selling products including a supersize version of their Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask and a full-size Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel. If you've got someone in your life who loves a self-care skincare session and trying something new then I think this could be just perfect for them!

For the coffee enthusiast

I imagine that this year a lot of coffee lovers have had to make do with a home coffee rather than one from their favourite coffee shop, and this could just be the ideal gift for them to jazz up their home creations! This set of caramel, vanilla and gingerbread flavoured syrups from Bean To Cup will undoubtedly take your coffees to the next level, bringing your favourite festive hot drinks into the comfort of your home this winter. I also think gifts like these are perfect for those in your life that are a little tricky to buy for, it's something different and no one else is likely to have bought them it too!

For your Mum

When it comes to Gifts For Her, and specifically for my Mum I always try and buy her something that she wouldn't buy for herself. My Mum always puts herself last on the priority list when it comes to the rest of the year so I really like being able to treat her to something a little different at Christmas and skincare is one of those things. Over the years she's been passed down products that don't work for me and I think she is actually quite a skincare fan, like myself. This No7 Skincare Treats gift set is exactly the kind of gift she'd love, to try out some new products! It contains No7's best selling products including their Replenishing Facial Oil and Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser. My Mum always finds something else that she needs to buy before pampering treats like these so it makes for a lovely gift when Christmas comes around.

For the organised friend

We all have that one friend that's super organised and looks like they have their life together, right? I feel I may be that friend in my friendship circle and I'm a big fan of practical gifts, practical and cute though! Kikki.K are one of my favourite stationary brands so I was really excited to see that Boots are stocking some of their products in their gift range this year, including their Yearly Planner. Now, I don't know about you, but my 2020 diary has barely moved from it's position on my desk since March but, I'm hopeful that my 2021 one will get far more use! There are month to view pages, monthly goals sections and even postcards and stickers in this planner. I really love the 'take time to reflect' section at the end of each month too, this planner really does have it all!

For the stockings

One of my favourite parts about Christmas has to be stockings! I just love the process of putting together this little bag of treats and opening my stocking was (and still is) one of my favourite parts of Christmas as a child. When it comes to Gifts for Him I do often have a harder time shopping for the men in my life but I'm a big believer that skincare, self-care and all things pamper related are for everyone, so the Champneys Men's Face and Body Clay Mask makes a great stocking filler. Then we have a gift that I'd add to everyone's stocking, the Feather & Down Pillow Spray. I'm a big fan of lavender-based sleep sprays and it's no secret that this year has disturbed our sleep massively, making this a calming and helpful present!

There's no denying that Christmas this year is going to be different but I'm viewing it as an opportunity to add some joy into my loved ones' lives with meaningful gifts. The perfect present could just be the best way to end 2020 with a glimmer of hope and love!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
