NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer | Review

I realise that this is the second concealer review I've done in a short space of time but I just couldn't wait any longer to talk about one of the newest additions to my makeup bag. When me and Sarah from Sarah in Wonderland went shopping together, causing havoc in our powerchairs, I knew I wanted to treat myself to a more high end purchase but wasn't sure what I wanted exactly. NARS was definitely a brand that was always at the front of my mind though and I wanted to get a product I'd use a lot, on the day though I couldn't quite decide whether to purchase this or not. Very soon after that though I went online and bought the NARS radiant creamy concealer, a product I'd heard a lot about. Concealer is the product I use most often and also my favourite kind of product to try out so I couldn't wait to start using it.

I have pretty pale skin so went for the shade Chantilly, it is definitely a yellow toned concealer but I find it matches my skin quite well once blended in and I think any other shade would have just been too dark. The thing that I had heard the most about this concealer was about how high coverage it was and that's exactly what I look for. It most definitely delivers when it comes to that as well, it covers more than any of my other concealers do, it especially hides my under eye circles and scarring from previous breakouts very well. It has a thicker consistency than I'm used to but it blends into my skin so easily that I've quickly gotten used to it, it really does have a very creamy and blendable formula. The finish that it gives is a very natural one, not quite matte but not quite dewy either, the perfect combination to brighten up your skin whilst also covering any blemishes etc naturally. One of the biggest bonuses of this though is definitely how pale it is, it's by far the lightest base product I've ever used so if you struggle to find concealers to suit your pale skin then I'd definitely give this a go!

At about £22 this isn't the cheapest concealer around but I'm glad I treated myself to it! I bought mine from FeelUnique but you can buy NARS products from lots of different places now, both online and instore.

Have you given this a go? I'd love to know what you think of it!

  1. I was considering buying this for a while but I hadn't heard to much about it so I wasn't sure, so thanks so much for sharing this!

  2. It's great to know it works well for pale skin! I always have this problem of not finding one light enough so will definitely look into this :)
