Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff Scrub + Chocolate Whip Moisturiser | Review

Fake tan and me have never gotten on, I'm ginger and pale which is basically a recipe for disaster when it comes to getting a tan, fake or not. So, when an email from Cocoa Brown popped into my inbox I knew that this wouldn't be an opportunity suited to me until they started to tell me about some of their products for those who don't enjoy fake tanning! Their Tough Stuff Body Scrub* and Chocolate Whip Body Moisturiser* are perfect for both tanners and non-tanners so I thought I'd give them a go!

Cocoa Brown is a brand I hear a lot about on Twitter so I definitely expected good things from them, these products are designed with tanners in mind which I think is fab, it's not something that affects me but a massive plus for others. I'm a big fan of body scrubs so I reached for that first to find out what it is like!

Firstly the smell of this product is just divine, I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like but it is a very sweet scent but not too overpowering. This matches quite well with the fact that the actual product itself is pink! What I like about this body scrub compared to some others is that it is gentle enough to use on both dry and wet skin, this manages to live up to it's name of tough stuff whilst always been soft and gentle. I've been using this about 3 times a week and I've found that my skin is now feeling a lot softer and smoother, I imagine this would be plenty tough enough to remove your tan!

After I've finished in the shower I then reach for the Chocolate Whip Moisturiser, at first I was a tad worried as the product is light brown colour so I thought it might end up giving me a tan but this wasn't the situation at all. It blended into my skin seamlessly without giving me even the slightest tint of a tan which I was very happy with. I wouldn't say this is my favourite body moisturiser ever but it did leave my skin feeling very soft and the fact that it is oil free meant it soaked in quickly without leaving any oily residue. This is supposed to make your tan last longer as well which obviously I couldn't test but if that works then I'd say that these two products are the perfect combination for anyone who fake tans and equally those who don't.

Both products are quite inexpensive at £5.99 each from FeelUnique who ship internationally!
