A LITTLE LUSH HAUL

As some of you may know my health is a little bit rubbish and I'm heading into hospital in a couple of weeks to have a hip replacement. This means that I won't be able to get in and out of the bath for a while after so I thought I'd make use of it for the next few weeks and of course you can't have a bath without using a LUSH bath bomb so I headed to my local store to treat myself! I really love my local LUSH store, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming and I always walk out with a smile. I also wanted to check out the new additions to the already huge range of products they have, my local store is on the smaller side but they still had loads of the new products so I quickly grabbed a basket and smelled just about every bath bomb in there!

I treated myself to 2 bath bombs and one of their bubble bars, I already had one bath bomb in mind that I knew was going straight in my basket though. The Experimenter is one of their newest bath bombs and from the look of things on social media is seems to be quite a big favourite! My Sister bought it a few weeks before me and as soon as I saw how colourful and pretty it was in the bath I was sold. I really expected it to be more than £3.95 so I had a pleasant surprised when I glanced at the price, I wish I'd bought 2!

I'm not entirely sure if this next one, Sakura, is new or not but I do know that is smells gorgeous! This is inspired by cherry blossom and has calming mimosa, jasmine oils, lemon oil and orange flower combined in it. By the looks of the website this is meant to be best suited for Spring but when I read the little tag in store I knew it would be perfect for me as it sounds and smells so relaxing, perfect for when my joints are aching and I need some time out. The colours compliment the relaxing smell as well, this would be fab for slowly winding down at the end of a long day!

Finally I picked up Granny Takes A Dip which is a bubble bar, one of the girls in LUSH told me that this actually used to be a bath bomb but they switched it to a bubble bar! I'm so glad they did this because I love using their bubble bars but want lots of colour in my bath as well and this brings those 2 elements together perfectly, creating a fab bubble bath. The scent is both spicy and citrusy which is surprisingly a good combination, I think this is one that I'm going to be buying over and over again.

I'm sad that I'll only be able to have showers for a while after my operation but at the same time I can't wait to go on a LUSH shopping spree when I'm back on my feet again, there are so many other products that I want to try!

I'd love to know what your favourite bath bombs and bubble bars are from LUSH, tell me in the comments!

  3. I always love the look of Lush bath bombs but A, we don't have a bath and B, I'm allergic to most Lush bath bombs I've tried in the past before we had our bathroom re done, so it's such a shame I can't use them but these all look and sound amazing!!! Fab post darling, lots of love xxxx

  4. I've not done a proper Lush haul in so long. I just pick up bits and pieces when/if I need them without trying anything new and bath bombs are my guilty pleasure. I hope your surgery goes well and you are enjoying baths again in no time xx

    1. I hardly ever go in there and buy a few products at a time either, usually just pick up the odd bath bomb whenever I'm in town :) Thank you Kate! x
