The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter and Shower Gel | Review

The Body Shop is a brand that over the years I've tried every now and then, I love popping into the local shop in my town as it has such a welcome and friendly vibe. More recently though I haven't had chance to have a proper look in there so as always I turn to the blogging community to keep up with what's new. I spotted a few blog posts about the Honeymania range when it first came out and despite the fact that I don't like the taste of honey I really did fancy trying a product or two from the range, it sounded like the perfect range of products for a pamper evening. So, when I was asked if I wanted to try a few of the products I of course said yes straightaway and fast forward a few weeks later here I am telling you about them.

The delightfully honey based range comprises of 8 products ranging from a Body Scrub to a Eau de Toilette, there is something for everyone in there. Like many people I am a big fan of the famous TBS Body Butters, they truly are a nice treat and worth paying a little more for. Before now I hadn't really tried the Shower Gels properly though so I looked forward to trying both of these products together. One good thing that I found straightaway is that I was using Body Butter a lot more because alongside it I was regularly using the matching Shower Gel so it reminded me to use it, so if you find yourself skipping using body lotion then buy a pair of matching products!
The Shower Gel is the cheaper of the two products and definitely more affordable but I happily pay £13 for the TBS Body Butters because of how soft they leave my skin feeling all day long. I think the combination of using them together definitely gives more benefits as well, it leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling amazing for longer and I think it's just nice when a few of your products match scent wise. When these run out I'll definitely be buying them and perhaps treating myself to one of the other products in the range. If you've been thinking about popping in-store and taking a look at this range then I'd definitely recommend that you do, you won't be disappointed!

  1. I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop but I haven't tried any of their Honeymania range, possibly because I'm not the niggest fan of honey as a scent. Their Vitamin E range is probably my favourite and I do really like their Camomile Silky cleansing oil, but my bottle leaks so badly. I need to buy another one to transfer it to x

    1. I'd say pop in store and smell it, it is quite sweet but doesn't smell as much like honey as other products I've tried. I don't think I've tried the Vitamin E range, might have to give that product a try, thanks for the recommendation :) x
