Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar | Review

At the moment my 'to-review' box is overfilling with all sorts of Makeup Revolution goodies, I can't keep up with all the amazing new releases! They truly did storm the beauty scene in 2014 and I think 2015 will only bring great things for the brand and amazing products to our makeup bags. Every now and then though they bring along a product or two that really catches my eye, at the moment it's the Blush and Bronze palettes. I'm such an indecisive person when it comes to picking a blush to use so having lots of choice all in one place is perfect for me, especially when it comes to travelling. It definitely saves time having blushes, highlighters and bronzers all in one palette so if you're a fan of using all 3 of those products, keep reading!

I'm pretty sure that this stunning palette came out back in November so I'm definitely a little late on writing up about this but it's worth the wait in my opinion. This sleek black palette encases 7 beautiful shimmering shades alongside one matte bronzer. You can definitely distinguish what some of the shades are meant to be for but for the most part they are all quite versatile. Each shade lacks a name which is a little annoying for us beauty bloggers but it isn't completely necessary, just a nice and helpful extra that this palette doesn't have unfortunately.

As you can see each shade is well pigmented, perhaps with the exception of the last matte bronze shade which does lack the vibrancy that the others have. I adore the finish of the 7 shimmery shades, it's truly beautiful and it gives your skin a uplifting glow. I usually only turn to highlighter to achieve this kind of look but some of the more peachy and pink shades with this finish make great blushes despite the highlighter like appearance. I think if there was a best time to pick this up it would definitely be now, I know my skin is looking a little dull right now as we progress into the middle of Winter so any added glow is very welcome. Also I think this will be a staple in my makeup bag as we go into Spring, especially the second and third shades on the first row.

I'm going away for a few days towards the end of the month and I know I'll definitely be popping this in my travel makeup bag, it will save so much space. This is a must-have for any blush/bronze/highlighter fan, I don't think you'll be disappointed, especially when you see that it only costs £6.
