Hopes and Goals for 2015

I never have been one to make new years resolutions and this year has been no different, I did however want to at least make note of some things that I would like to achieve or do this year. I know there is a lot of '2015 is my year' tweets going around at the moment but I truly do believe that 2015 will bring good things for me. 2014 wasn't my best year and I spent a lot of it inside doing not very much at all due to the pain I was in. From about September onwards things got a lot better though thanks to many different reasons so it wasn't all bad. I am very much believing that 2015 will be a good year for me though, the year I get my life back and start living properly, the year in which I smile more.

GET A JOB
For me this is one of the most important things for me to achieve as soon as possible because it means so much to me that I'm at the point in my recovery where I'm able to work. Getting a job was something that I definitely looked forward to doing after my 16th birthday, I just really enjoy being busy and working. So when life got in the way I put a lot of my focus into that goal, always reaching and striving to get to that point. I've just starting searching for something suitable for me so fingers crossed something pops up soon.

HAVE MORE DAYS OUT
This is something that I've already started doing and I can't wait to do more of this year. I want more days at the seaside, more shopping trips in London and I'd love more than anything to go to France at some point this year. This includes spending more time with friends and loved ones, whether that be having a movie day or a meal together, I must make more of an effort now there is nothing holding me back.

BE MORE SPONTANEOUS AND TRY NEW THINGS
This is something that I've always struggled with, I feel the need to organise things in advance and make sure that every detail is planned a lot. This is perfect for situation where such planning is needed but sometimes I think I just need to wake up and do something new and different every now and then. I forget sometimes that there is nothing keeping me at home on days where I'm not doing anything, I don't need to lie in bed watching TV anymore. I think asking myself to try something new everyday is a bit out of reach but I definitely want to look back on my month or week and be able to tell you something different and new that I've done.

SPEND MORE TIME ON MY BLOG
2014 wasn't the best year for my blog, I definitely lost a lot of inspiration and motivation and I know you shouldn't get so hung up on numbers but seeing them drop did dishearten me a little. I would love to put as much love into my posts as I did 2 or 3 years ago. I want to add more lifestyle elements into my blog as well, telling you about my days out or just something that made me smile. I think I need more of a personal touch on here now, I definitely lost that last year. I really want to make an effort to use social media to help push my blog along more as well, especially Pinterest! Hopefully within the next few months I'll have a brand new blog design also, something a little more personal and eye-catching.

BE MORE CONFIDENT
It's about time that I started believing in myself a bit more and stopped comparing myself to others. It's really that simple.

There are so many other things that I want to achieve this year and I have a whole list of things I want to do and places I want to visit but for now I don't think I need to share it all. I'll definitely be doing posts every now and then though, perhaps about how I'm achieving these goals or telling you all about a particularly good day. If you have any goals or resolutions this year why not share them in the comments, it might inspire others to make similar changes in their lives.
