Feeling Normal Again

So, I've been away from my blog for nearly 2 weeks now, I took a bit of a break before I went on holiday and it seems now I'm back I'm carrying on having this break. Lots of things can change in the space of 2 weeks though so I thought that it was about time that I updated you all before I go back to my usual beauty posts, I've got so many great products to tell you about!
Last week I got back from my week away in Yorkshire, I honestly wasn't sure how I'd cope with not only the 3 hour drive but just a busier week. It turns out that it was a bit of a turning point for me though, I've come back feeling like I'm starting to get back to normal. I managed the drive with only one very short break and the rest of the week just got better after that. Most days I was out of the house for about 5 or 6 hours, perhaps only stopping to have a lie down once or twice during that time as well. Before my most recent operation I could manage 2 hours at the most so I was so shocked to find that once I'm busy I seem to be able to do more than I thought. We went to the coast a couple of times and I spent some time in Hull which I loved, it was nice to just feel normal. Normal to me is being able to leave the house without panicking about how much pain I might be in. Since I've gotten back as well I've been doing more and more, I'm actually starting to look for a job which is a massive step.
I am so happy at the moment, I feel like things are finally starting to get better. After this past year I was starting to think that maybe I'd be stuck at home in pain for quite a while so these improvements definitely came at the right time. I've been enjoying my new freedom since I've gotten home but I'm definitely missing blogging so look out for some new posts soon.
As always thank you for your support, without the friends I've made through blogging and just the lovely comments and tweets I couldn't have gotten through this past year.
Thank you,
Shona x
