bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Survivor | Review

We are currently in the middle of October which is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month so today I'm going to be talking about this beautiful lipgloss that bareMinerals have launched in partnership with Look Good Feel Better. I've talked about this charity before on my blog, around the same time last year but if you aren't aware about what they do here's a little summary. Look Good Feel Better is a charity that provides free skincare and makeup workshops and self-help materials to help Women and teenagers to combat the visible side effects of cancer treatment. I think a lot of the focus when it comes to cancer is on finding a cure which is great and is exactly what we should be doing but it is easy to forget that people are suffering and things like this can put a smile on peoples faces which can help so much. I think what Look Good Feel Better do is amazing and I'm happy to see that £5 from every purchase of one of these lipglosses will be going to them, a lot of brands only give a pound or two to charities when they partner up so I'm really glad to see that they are giving them more.

This year Look Good Feel Better are celebrating their 20th anniversary and this campaign highlights bareMinerals long-standing support for the confidence-boosting charity. As I said before bareMinerals will be donating £5 to Look Good Feel Better for every purchase of this lipgloss made, it retails for £16.

Over the past year I've started to become a big fan of bareMineral's products and a few of them have made their way into my daily makeup routine. I've tried one of their lipglosses before but the colour just didn't suit me so I never got to properly try it so I was so happy to find that this is a really wearable shade that I think will appeal to just about everyone. It offers sheer-medium colour and a lot of shine, I didn't expect tons of pigmentation as it is just a lipgloss but I am happy with just how much colour you can achieve with it though. The finish is beautiful as well, very glossy and it feels comfortable on my lips. The scent is refreshing and this also creates a fuller look, it does tingle slightly on your lips at first but it settles down quickly leaving you with more voluptuous lips. I never know what to expect from lip plumping products but this definitely gave my lips a little boost which I'm very thankful for!

Of course it doesn't last too long as it is a lipgloss, not a lipstick, but I did get a good 2 hours of wear before it vanished. It doesn't dry my lips out though which is a big plus and no surprise as it has Shea, avocado and murumuru butters in it to keep your lips feeling and look soft. It isn't often that I struggle to find a fault in a product but this time around I just can't! I adore the shade, it isn't sticky and it leaves my lips feeling soft, it ticks all the boxes in my opinion.

If you've been wanting to try something from bareMinerals now would be the ideal time to do so, this is a limited edition product though so I'd get in there quickly before someone else does! You can buy it instore and online, also if you want to find out more about Look Good Feel Better you can do so here, they are a fab charity so take a look!
