Recent Food Favourites

Recently I've been enjoying trying new foods and being a bit more creative with my meals so I thought I'd share with you some of my recent food favourites, with a drink thrown in! I'm hoping to do more food based posts as well, more recipes and maybe some food diary posts.

Before I talk about some specific food favourites though I just want to mention one of my new favourite places to shop for food, mainly fo healthy snacks and similar things. That shop is Holland & Barrett, I've been into there a few times in the past but I've been loving wandering around there and browsing the online shop a lot. I got hooked when I took advantage of the penny sale a while back, picking up lots of healthy snacks for next to nothing. Since then I've popped into my local shop and discovered an outlet Holland & Barrett near me, I may have gone a little crazy in there! Maybe I'll do a little haul next time I make a sneaky order?

I used to absolute hate blueberries but I recently tried them again and over the past few weeks I've been eating so many of them! I love eating them with yoghurt and porridge for breakfast (although not yoghurt and porridge together!). I've always been a big fan of blackberries but I think these are my new favourite.

Onken Mango, Papaya and Passionfruit Yoghurt
Yoghurt is something I've fallen in and out of love with over the past few years but my Mum introduced me to Onken recently and I think now my relationship with it is definitely going to stay positive. I especially love this flavour of it and the Raspberry and Honey one, it's nice having it for breakfast with lots of fruit.

I'm a big fan of Iced Tea so when I saw this in Holland & Barrett I picked it up straight away. I usually drink the Lipton Iced Tea but that is packed with sugar so I was happy to see something a little better for you available. I also picked up the cherry flavoured one but I definitely prefer this pomegranate one and I wish I'd picked up a few more bottles!

Nearly everyone in my house is a lover of peanut butter but when this arrived in the post I was the only one who was really interested. This definitely turned out to be a good thing though as this almond butter is so nice. I've heard so many people rave about it and I've read countless recipes that include it so I finally bought myself some from Holland & Barrett a little while ago. I love having this on toast and ryvita but it goes really well with bananas, it's one of my favourite snack combos at the moment! If you haven't already tried almond butter yet I'd really recommend that you do!

Let me know below if you want me to do more food related posts!

Shona x
