3 Minute Makeup Challenge

A couple of weeks ago Fragrance Direct sent me a lovely email which challenged me to do the 3 minute makeup challenge, I said yes straight away because I felt confident that I could succeed. This was until I started the timer, all that confidence ran away as I realised that 3 minutes really isn't a long time!

I don't wear lots of eyeliner and I usually do nothing with my eyebrows so I was sure I could do the challenge easily, I found out this morning though that I was so wrong when I attempted the challenge.

I started off with foundation as I knew that would take the longest, I used the Max Factor Smooth Effect Foundation in Porcelain*. It was a tad too dark for me so I did spend a bit longer making sure that it was all blended down my neck, this took up all of my first minute, that's when I started to panic a bit!

I then quickly grabbed my Max Factor Mastertouch Under-Eye Concealer* and dotted it under my eyes and on my chin to cover my spots, this only took about 20 seconds as I just grabbed my brush and blended it in. Whilst I had my Real Techniques Buffing Brush in my hand I picked up my mini Benefit Posietint and put a little bit of it on my cheeks which took to me to nearly 2 minutes!

I'd only done my base/face makeup and I only had one minute left so I lightly curled my lashes and put on a coat of the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Lumunizer Mascara*, if I'd had more time I would've put a bit more mascara on. With only about 15 seconds left I grabbed my Revlon Balm Stain in Honey and messily tried to put it on. I didn't have any time to spare but I think I would have been fine if it was the 5 minute makeup challenge! I would have to liked to have done something with my eyebrows and used some more eye products but I think I did well with the time I had.

Do you think you could do your makeup in 3 minutes?

Thanks for reading,
