Haul | ASOS, New Look and Amazon

Recently I've been doing a little bit of online shopping, I needed to buy some new tops as I've grown out of most of mine so I was mainly shopping for tops and t-shirts. Of course when you are online shopping other things end up catching your eye so I couldn't just order some tops, I had to order some books. I haven't got lots to show you all but I thought it was still worth doing a small haul to show you what I've been ordering!

When the ASOS sale first started this was one of the first things that caught my eye. I'm a sucker for anything with animals on, especially cute cats and dogs. Like I said above I've been needing some new tops so I knew straight away that I'd be buying it. In the few days that I waited for some money to go into my bank account I hoped it wouldn't go out of stock which thankfully it didn't! It was originally £8 and it went down to £3.50 in the sale, then on the day I bought it ASOS had a 10% off code so I only paid £3.15! They've still got a few sizes in stock, you can buy it here. They have the same design on a jumper as well which is only £9 in the sale. I'll definitely be looking at Monki more on the ASOS website I think.

Reading The Fault in Our Stars recently has made me want to get back into reading, I quickly realised that I don't own any books that I hadn't already read to death. Amazon is my go to place for buying books, especially as delivery is free when you spend £10 or more! I enjoyed TFIOS so much that I wanted to read another book by John Green so I ordered Looking for Alaska which I'm really looking forward to reading, I hope it is as good as TFIOS! The main reason I made the order was to get The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. I'm currently reading it at the moment after my Mum told me to get it as apparently there are some personal medical connections between me and a character in it. I've just finished it so look out for a review of it on here very soon. Finally to make my order go over £10 I got Divergent after it was recommended to me by a lot of people. The film looks good but to me it seems like the kind of story I'd rather read than watch in a cinema. If you want me to review all 3 of the book let me know in the comments!

Finally I had a £10 New Look voucher to spend so I bought this Burgundy Peplum Top which I featured in my sale picks post. I'm never sure what clothes suit my figure but the internet said that Peplum tops look nice on someone with my figure so I bought it! I really like it and think it suits me really well, I'm just not sure how to style it. If you have done any OOTDs or How to Style posts featuring Peplum tops please leave the link in the comments!

Have you been buying anything recently? New clothes? Some new beauty products?

Thanks for reading,
Shona x

  5. Divergent is excellent! If you enjoy dystopian YA I'd really recommend the Matched series as well as Wool by Hugh Howey, which I read last month! Would love to see what you think of The Husband's Secret and Looking for Alaska - I read TFIOS recently and loved it.

    1. I'm enjoying it so far, although I think the first few chapters should have been more detailed and longer! Will take a look at them, thanks! :) Will review both then, The Husband's Secret review will go up first :) x

  6. You'll enjoy looking for alaska. It was the first John Green novel I read. I also want to read divergent but haven't got round to purchasing it yet. Maybe you could do a book review on it once you've finished it? :)
