Small Haul // Boots and Yankee Candle

The other day me, Lisa and Bex met up for shopping, Wetherspoons and Costas! We had such a lovely day and spent most of it laughing our heads off in Wetherspoons and Costas, we were getting some strange looks! You might of seen we were having a conversation over twitter whilst we sat next to each other and we were also snapchatting each other- we are strange!

In between all of that we did a bit of shopping! I didn't buy much but thought I'd do a haul, I didn't buy any makeup either, I have bought any in a few months now, I'm not sure how I've done it! I did pick up a few nail polishes and candles though so I thought I'd show you.

Firstly we went to Clintons and couldn't resist picking up some candles! I'm loving  the Yankee Candles Christmas scents at the moment, the lighter scents anyway. I always pick up the little sampler sizes of candles first to see if they smell nice when they burn or if they actually smell at all when you light them! I picked up Merry Marshmallow and Fireside Treats. I'm burning Merry Marshmallow as I type this and it smells amazing, I'd really recommend it!

I knew when I went into Boots that I would be picking up these nail polishes to create the nail look that Fee from Makeup Savvy did! She also used a Essie nail polish but I decided just to pick up these two. I've already painted my nails with them both and I really love how they look together, it looks elegant yet sparkly and glam! The nail polishes are Barry M Rose Quartz Glitter (£2.99) and Sinful Colours Easy Going (£1.99). Look out for a NOTD post soon!

Also there was a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots so I picked up another Sinful Colours nail polish in Pinky Glitter, it looked beautiful in Boots and it sparkled so much, I had to pick it up!

Then in superdrug I bought this Palmers Cocoa Butter Lip Balm after realising I'd left my lip balm at home. I get so annoyed when I have dry lips and I find it really frustrating so I had to buy one, it seems stupid but it really does get on my nerves. I thought I'd try a new one and thankfully it was only about £1.90 I think. I'll probably do a review on this at some point but so far I quite like it, it is a strange shape though.

Also the next me and Mum went into town and I picked up this pillow pet from Wilkinsons for only £7.50! I've always wanted one and it was half price so I couldn't resist. I got a unicorn one and have since named her Glitter! I thought it would be really good for after my operation as well as it is really soft and comfy and it is already making sitting down more comfy. They are made for children but I think everyone needs a pillow pet in their life!

Shona x
