My Everyday Makeup

I love experimenting with makeup and trying out different products but when it comes to my everyday makeup I really don't reach for many products. I do switch up my lip products a lot and wear eyeshadow and CC Cream sometimes but generally this is the kind of look I'm wearing most of the time. I recently had a big makeup clearout as well and downsized my collection because I realised that I really don't use a lot of the products that I owned so now I'm down to the products that I do actually use on a regular basis which I much prefer! Onto what this post is about though, sharing with you the products that I use for my everyday makeup look!

Products Used
Benefit the POREfessional PRO Balm | £24.50 | Buy Here
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair 1 | £4.19 | Buy Here
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent | £3.99 | Buy Here
Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky | £3.19 | Buy Here
MUA Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit | £3.50 | Buy Here
Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara in Black | £7.99 | Buy Here
Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me | £2.99 | Buy Here

I started off with the Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky and I used this on the inner corner of my eyes on the top and bottom and then blended it a little towards the middle of my eyelid. I do really like this eyeshadow pencil, it is nicely pigmented but I do find it a little difficult to blend, it is lovely for a inner corner highlight though which is why I love using it! Then I curled my lashes with my trusty Primark Eyelash Curlers and popped on two light coats of my Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara which has been a favourite of mine recently.

Then it is onto face and I used a little of my Benefit POREfessional on my nose (to disguise my pores a little!), chin and under my eyes as well as a primer. Then I followed with a firm favourite of mine, the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which hides any discolouration under my eyes and blemishes very well. I also dusted a little of my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder under my eyes and anywhere else were I used concealer just to keep the product in place. Then I went onto my brows and just combed them through a little and used a little brow powder to even them out a little, I also used some of the wax from the MUA Eyebrow Kit to keep my eyebrows in place as they can be quite unruly at times! Finally I applied my favourite tinted lip balm, Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry me for a little tint of colour on my lips!

As well as this being a go to everyday look for me this is also roughly the kind of makeup I wear to Sixth Form, I always wear at least mascara and concealer to make me look more awake!

Let me know some of the products that you use everyday!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x

  2. You are super lucky and I am really jealous of your beautiful skin/complextion. The natural look is lovely and its nice to see you don't use lots of foundation when you don't need to.

    1. Aww thank you lovely, the camera and lighting is doing my skin a lot of favours though, of course concealer helps to hide my blemishes as well haha :) I don't feel I need foundation as concealer covers my blemishes and discolouration under my eyes better and I quite like my freckles and rosy cheeks, I do sometimes wear CC Cream like I said before if my skin is particularly red or I'm going out for a meal or something though :) xx
