The One and Only // TAG

Recently I saw a new tag pop up on one of my favourite bloggers blog! You all know I'm not a big fan of tags but I really like this one! I knew this tag would be a challenge but I do love a challenge! This wonderful tag was created by Angelica from One Little Vice!

The Question that this tag is based around is:

If you could only have one__________what would it be? And in a few words, why?

Primer: Benefit's Porefessional Primer
I haven't had this Primer for very long at all after winning it in a giveaway but I'm already loving it! I find it greats a great base for foundation. I find it does minimise the appearance of pores and increase wear time of my base product!

Base Product: Diorskin Nude BB Cream*
Again this is a product that I've only got recently but I've fallen in love with it! The coverage is perfect for me, it is light but evens out my skin well. It lasts well and the colour is a pretty good match, it is a bit dark but doesn't make me look orange.

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
To me this is the best concealer ever! It gives me lots of coverage and I love using it both under my eyes and on any blemishes. It lasts all day on me and the palest shade is a really good colour match!

Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I haven't tried many powders because I am pretty happy with this one! It is a total bargain, it doesn't perform miracles but it is just what I need! It removes some shine and keeps my makeup in place longer.

Blush (cream or power): NYX Powder Blush in Peach
This is my go to shade at the moment, it is really versatile and flattering so if I could only have one blush it would definitely be this one! It is well pigmented yet inexpensive as well.

I actually don't own a bronzer! I really struggle to use it so don't have one because I don't need one! I'll get the hang of it one day just not anytime soon! I've always preferred blush over bronzer as well.

Highlighter: MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter
This highlighter is such a bargain but it is also stunning! It's so pigmented and the design of the actual product is gorgeous. This is definitely my go to highlighter!

Make Up Brush (single): Real Techniques Contour Brush
I figured that I could do my eyeshadow, foundation etc without a brush but the one thing I'd definitely need a brush for is blusher! I couldn't be without my contour brush, it applies products beautifully and blends them well also.

Eyebrow Product: MUA Brow Kit
This is the only product I use to do my eyebrows so this definitely wasn't a hard decision! It's cheap but also has a shade that matches my eyebrows pretty well! It comes with a mini brush and tweezers as well which are admittedly not the best tools in the world but it makes the kit perfect for travel!

Eyeshadow (single): Urban Decay 'Half Baked' Eyeshadow
My Naked2 Palette is my go to for eyeshadow but picking a favourite from it is tough! I've decided on Half Baked though, it is such an easy shade to wear and looks great all year round. It is really long lasting and pigmented as well!

Eyeliner: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude
This is quite an easy one to answer, I don't really wear eyeliner on my top lashline! If I do want to wear  there I'll use eyeshadow. I love using this Nude coloured liner on my waterline to brighten up my eyes and make them appear bigger.

Mascara: MUA Every Lash Mascara
I'm sure you all guessed I'd say this one! To me this is the best mascara out there and at only £3 it is a bargain product! It lasts all day on me, I've never experienced smudging or flaking when wearing it. It also gives my lashes a good amount of length and volume and you can build up the volume as well. It's the perfect day-time mascara!

Lipstick, Lipgloss or Lip Stain: MAC Lipstick in Lovelorn
Lately this has been my go to lip product, I've fallen completely in love with it all over again! I love the finish and formula, the shade is a lovely pink as well, great for first time MAC buyers I think! It is super easy to pull off also.

I don't use lipliner! Bad beauty blogger...

Lip Balm: Nivea Hydrocare Lip Balm
I'm on my third tube of this lip balm, it is just fab! It really does hydrate my lips and makes them feel really soft. I can't stand having dry lips but this sorts it out straight away!

Nail Polish: Collection Lasting Gel Nail Colour in Watermelon
I thought this would be hard to pick but it actually wasn't! This nail polish lasts at least a week on my nails and the shade is just stunning. It is more of a summer shade but you could get away with it all year round!

It took me quite a while to decide on some of my answers but others came to my head straight away! This Tag really does make you think about which products you truly couldn't be without!

  1. Agreed about the Collection concealer, definitely a holy grail item.

    Water Painted Dreams

  2. Have you tried the Sleek Contour Kit? You definitely don't need bronzer but I bought that recently and it is beautiful. The highlighter is really lovely as well - the thing I love the most is that though it's pigmented, the bronzer isn't too muddy or orangey. I used it on a friend who is lighter than NC15 and she loved it so much she bought it while we were out that night!

    1. I haven't, will take a look at it the next time I'm in superdrug though! xx
