The Perfect Hair Pair // Aussie and VO5

A little while back now I was hunting for hair products to make my dry hair softer and more tamed! Don't get me wrong I love my LUSH conditioner but it just wasn't doing as much as I would have liked it too! So, of course I turned to the #bbloggers hashtag! Through peoples recommendations I've found the perfect hair duo for me!

First up is Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy, recommended to me by Sandra from The Black Pearl Blog. I used to be a big fan of Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor but for some reason I just stopped using it. Frizz is one of the hair problems I struggle with, I've always had frizzy hair but never found the right product to combat it. After washing my hair it would always, whether I blow dryed it or let it naturally dry, become very frizzy and puffy. I used to always tie my hair back once it was dry as it was just impossible to let it down but now I don't have to do that! I leave this conditioner in my hair for a minimum of 10 minutes, the longest I've left it on for is 4 hours. I noticed a change in my hair after the first use of this, my hair isn't as frizzy anymore. Of course this hasn't solved the problem but it has improved it a lot!

I can't put it all down to Aussie though as I've been using another product along side it. The VO5 Miracle Concentrate Elixir with Argan Oil was recommended to me by Marvelle from Blog Of Shadows. I'd been using the L'Oreal Mythic Oil for a while before this and like the LUSH Conditioner I felt like it was giving me the results I wanted, it's good and I'd recommend it but I felt like I wanted more from a hair oil! I've been running a few drops of this through the middle to ends of my hair when it is damp and then letting my hair naturally dry or I'll blow dry it. My hair has been a lot softer thanks to this and my mum has already gone out and bought herself a bottle after stealing mine and falling in love with it!

Thanks to these products I'm a lot happier with my hair!

  1. I use the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and find that if I leave it on for too long, my curls go weird and lanky, haha. I've never tried the frizz version though, sounds good x

  4. I wish we had the Aussie products here in Australia... since they are named after us, you would think they would be available here, but sadly no! I've heard great things about that particular frizz remedy and really want to try it!
