My Makeup Collection // Palettes

Over the next month or so I'm going to be showing you my makeup collection in categories, starting with palettes! I'll be showing you my lipsticks, eyeshadows and more! Everything basically! I love watching makeup collection videos and reading similar posts but I always want to see everything in a bit more detail! Quick little disclaimer for the whole series, I'm not bragging at all!

First up is my well loved Urban Decay Naked2 Palette. I was lucky enough to be sent this in a Canadian swap last year and I've been using it every week since! It has all the colours I need in it and the quality is the best I've come across. My favourite colours are Foxy, Half Baked, Verve and Busted. The packaging of the palette is a lot sturdy than the Naked1 as well, I much prefer this one, I don't own the Naked1 but from pictures I've seen I'm definitely glad I have the second version. You can see swatches here and my full review here.

Next up is the MUA Undressed Palette which is supposedly a dupe for the Naked1 palette! I love MUA's palettes but the quality isn't like Urban Decay's eyeshadows! I really like Shade 2 in the palette and Shade 12. For only £4 this is a bargain and despite the quality not being like Urban Decay's I still love it and use it a lot!

This is the MUA Heaven and Earth palette and it was the first palette I ever bought from MUA, it might be the first proper palette I ever bought actually! I think it is pretty obvious which shade is my favourite and I absolutely love it for a all over the lid shade, I love wearing it all over with a quick coat of mascara for a simple look! You can see swatches and read my full review here.

I know, I know, more MUA palettes! This is the Starry Night palette and I find this is perfect for my eye colour as lilacs, silvers and blues go really nicely with my eyes! I tend to avoid the pink mostly, I do love the bottom left colour though for a light smokey eye!

My next MUA Palette is the Going For Gold Palette*. This was brought out during the Olympics and it features lots of gold, silver and bronze shades, no surprise! I don't use this palette that much as I can find gold a difficult colour to work with sometimes when they are so yellow and orange like these are. I really love the bronze shades in it though! You can see swatches and read my review here.

Finally my last MUA Palette is the most recent addition, the Glitter Ball palette that Jayne sent to me. I can't really say anything about this as I haven't actually used it yet! I've swatched a few shades and the pigmentation is good but that is all I can say really!

Time for a brand change! This is my Sleek i-Divine Ultra Matts V2 Darks Palette. I love matte eyeshadows and this palette gets a lot of use. I use the matte dark brown a lot in my crease and I really love the warm cranberry like shade on the bottom row. You can see swatches and read my full review here.

Next up is my beloved Wet 'n' Wild Comfort Zone Palette! I was sent this in my Canadian swap and oh how I adore this. The pigmentation is incredible for a drugstore product! I love the bottom right shade which is duo-chrome, it has tones of blue in it that I love! You can create so many different looks with this palette especially with the green shades in it. You can see swatches and read my full review here.

Finally my last palette is the LOOK Beauty Brow Perfect! Kit*. To be honest this doesn't get much use at all. I didn't give this a very good review either, I think this isn't practical for a normal person. For a makeup artist it would be great for their kit but for the everyday person 7 shades just aren't needed! Also there isn't actually a colour that suits my eyebrows very well in it! You can read my full review here.

So, they are all my palettes!

Let me know in the comments what category of makeup you'd like to see next!
