My Makeup Collection // Mascara

Welcome to another Makeup Collection post! Today I'm going to be showing you my Mascara collection. I know, I know, one person does not need 6 mascaras but lets say it is all in the name of blogging! I haven't included pictures of all the mascaras on simple because I don't have the time at the moment, I'm writing this before my op. Thinking about it, when this post goes live I'll probably be in the operating theatre, think happy thoughts for me!

MUA Mega Volume Mascara £3- buy here
This mascara really isn't fab and I've only kept it for this post so I can share my views on it! By the afternoon it has flaked and smudged a lot! The brush collects clumps of mascara with transfer onto your lashes as well. It might appear to be a bargain mascara but it really isn't!

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Smoky Eyes Mascara £7.99- buy here
This was the first Maybelline Mascara I ever bought, I like it but I don't love it! It does give my lashes a lot of length and volume but it doesn't last all day, it lasts until about the afternoon so it isn't that bad but still it is annoying!

MUA Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara £7.99- buy here
I recently reviewed this mascara, I've fallen in love with it! The brush bends so it gives you lovely fluttery lashes, length and volume! It is a really fab everyday mascara and I would definitely recommend it!

Model Co Fibre Lashxtend Mascara- buy here
This is a slightly different mascara, it has little fibres in! They aren't really obvious though so doesn't give you clumpy lashes, it isn't my go to mascara but it isn't a bad mascara! It certainly is a lot better than the lashfibres mascara.

VIVO VPL Mascara* £3.49 (currently £1.74!)- buy here
This has been my go to mascara since my MUA Every Lash ran out. It lasts all day and it gives my lashes a good amount of volume and length, it is a good everyday mascara. You can add more coats and build it up to get a more dramatic effect though!

Covergirl Lashblast 24hr
Firstly, in the UK Covergirl is Max Factor! No need to be buying Covergirl and paying an arm and a leg to get it shipped over here when Max Factor is Covergirl for us. I find the brush on this with it's short rubber bristles gives my lashes a lot of volume. It doesn't last all day though but there isn't any major flaking.

That is my mascara collection, I'm not sure I really need 6 mascaras but oh well, I can't be alone!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x
