July Beauty Favourites

The month of July has whizzed by! It has certainly been a busy and stressful month so I'm ready to embrace August, especially with my birthday being at the end of the month! Amongst everything that has been going on this month I have been loving a few beauty items! You'll be happy to hear I have a few new favourites to show you as well!

Firstly I finally re-purchased my MUA Every Lash Mascara. I was originally sent one of these to review and I fell in love with it! It has become a really firm favourite of mine and I still love it. It stays on all day, I've never experienced flaking or smudging with this beauty buy but, it is also easy to remove! For only £3 you really can't go wrong!

This month I've been going back to an old favourite as well, the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner in Nude. For some reason I just hadn't been using this that much but in July I started to pick it up again and I've fallen in love with it all over again. It really opens up your eyes when used on the waterline and makes your eyes appear bigger, again it is a bargain at only £3.99!

This month I've been turning to Revlon for lip products and have found myself falling in love with an old favourite and also finding a new favourite! First up is the Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple. I bought this at the Herts/Beds Meet Up and have been loving using it since! I've never been one for red lipstick but this is perfect for me as it isn't as bold as a lipstick and it can be sheered out as much as you like. I was a bit hesitant about paying £7.99 but I'm already looking at getting another shade! Look out for the full review coming soon!

Another Revlon product I've been loving this month is the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey. My Balm Stain collection is growing so this got pushed to the back whilst I tried new ones but this month it has been my most used lip product! I just love how it's moisturising, easy to apply but also gives your lips a decent amount of colour! Just like the Lip Butter's this is £7.99.

For blusher this month I've mostly been turning to Dainty Doll's Blusher in 003 (Money Talks?). It looks boring and not very friendly in the pan but it is honestly gorgeous on the cheeks. It gives my cheeks a neutral glow and almost sculpts my cheeks a bit like a bronzer would. It is a lot easier to use than it may appear!

This month I found myself trying a Philosophy product for the first time! Talented Talkers on Twitter were talking about their favourite Philosophy products and when I mentioned I'd actually never tried their products they offered to send me a product to try out! They sent me the 27 Wishes Multi Purpose Balm*. I've been using this like crazy! I get random dry patches on my body, especially on my elbows and I've found that this is really helping and I've seen an improvement! Some of its claims are to help sunburn, windburn, skin irritation, stretch marks and minor scraps. It has 27 claims in total! I've really been enjoying using this and will definitely fully review it eventually!

Finally my last favourite is the Ginvera Exfoliating Marvel Gel. I've had this sample sitting around in my sample bag for a while so I thought I'd finally crack it out! I was so pleasantly surprised by this product! I used it on dry skin and when it touched my skin I felt it working already. All you do is rub it in a little and it just starts exfoliating! It is definitely the best exfoliater I've ever tried, I think I better start saving for the full size!

That is this month's favourites! I was going to do a non beauty favourites post like last month but I can't really think of anything to include other than the herts/beds meet up!

  1. Nice choices here :) I too use the nude eye pencil on a day to day basis. I'd love to try some bits from Ginvera.
