Haul // Primark and Superdrug

I was meant to be going Sixth Form shopping tomorrow but my mum decided she wanted to go today so off I went shopping! I had hoped to go to the Herts/Beds Blogger Lunch today but buying new clothes was a bigger priority. I didn't find as much as I wanted so of course I treated myself to a few beauty buys and other goodies! Some of this was payed for by my parents as it is mainly for sixth form.

Firstly I picked up some shoes as I don't think they'll let me wear my Primark vans to Sixth Form! They were a complete bargain at £4 each. I have quite big but slim feet and I found that the grey shoes really flattered my feet. As for the black pair, well they are super comfy and I loved the slipper style!

I picked up some boring old socks as they are super cheap at Primark at only £2.50 for 7 pairs! I also found this set of earrings for £1 at the tills, I don't own any dainty small earrings for just everyday wear so I grabbed them as soon as I saw them! I also picked up this studded purse which was on sale for only £2. I've had my New Look purse for about 4 years I'd say and I've been looking to get a new one for while. This has lots of card space which is great, such a bargain!

Primark are my go to shop for jeans, I'm lucky in that they fit me so well! These are more like jeggings and only cost me £7! All my jeans are from Primark as they do longer ones which cater for my long legs! For £7 you really can't go wrong.

I picked myself up another vest top from them but went a size up as I don't want it to be really skin tight seeing as we are in summer now! This was only £2, they don't last long but as they are only £2 I don't mind.

I bought something I never thought I'd buy, a cropped jumper! It isn't that cropped as I sized up but it still shows some skin so I plan to wear the vest top I bought underneath it. It is really light so perfect for summer and the sleeves are long enough! It was a bargain at £3 as well.

For Sixth Form I also picked up this navy cardigan to go under my Blazer in the colder months. Everything I seem to have picked up for Sixth Form so far seems to be black so I thought navy would be better. It was only £6, I might go back and pick up a brighter colour for casual wear!

I then found this black skater dress with leather sleeves which I love! I tried on so many dresses and this was the only one I found which I thought looked OK. I can't wait until I've had my op, clothes will look better! This was £13 which is a little more than dresses in Primark used to be but is still cheaper than Topshop etc so I'm happy!

I found the Maybelline Baby Lips tucked away in Superdrug as well. I already have one from a Canadian swap and love it so decided to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer and pick up some more. I know the giveaway prizes are supposed to be suprises but I thought I'd let you know one of the prizes, I picked up a Pink Punch Baby Lips for the lucky winner! I probably won't review these as even I'm sick of reading reviews already and they are just tinted lip balms to be honest but I do love a good lip balm! They were £2.99 each.

So, that is everything I picked up! Primark have some lovely things in at the moment, I really recommend taking a look!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x

  3. I love the things you've got! Im so pleased I'm not the only girl in the world with size 8 feet as you are too, all of my friends are like 5s and I always wish they were smaller instead of being long and thin! Also, how tall are you? It's just that I buy the long jeans too so I was just wondering :-) Great post Shona!

  6. Oh Primark do longer length? I didn't realise that! I struggle sometimes with leg lengths because I'm 6ft and regular lengths are too short but tall ranges are usually too long and many shops still only do standard lengths anyway. How tall are you hun? x

  7. Love the black dress! I hated having to buy loads of new clothes for sixth form, it was so stressful going from wearing a uniform every day to actually wearing your own clothes haha. You got some great stuff, love a Primark haul :)

  11. I was confused when you said you could not wear vans style shoes to 6th form , do you have a uniform , you mentioned a blazer ?? My sixth form college hasn't got a uniform :) Maybe yours does if its attached to your school xxx

    1. My sixth form is attached to the school, there isn't a uniform like secondary school but there are guidelines eg, we have to wear a blazer and office wear but a bit more lenient xx
