What's in my Travel Makeup Bag?

Tomorrow I'm heading over to my grandparents house until Monday so I thought I'd show you the makeup I'm taking with me. We are going out for a meal one of the nights so I've taken a bit more than usual but still I've managed to restrain myself from taking practically my whole makeup collection! A quick note as well, from Friday evening onwards I'll be in a internet free environment so won't be able to respond to comments etc. I am going to schedule a post for Saturday though.

Anyway, onto the makeup!

Brushes wise I'm taking a few real techniques brushes, my UD one and some other random ones. I'm taking quite a few eyeshadow brushes but the only face brushes I'm taking is my RT contour brush and a random Powder Brush.

I always turn to the UD Naked2 Palette for when I'm travelling or staying overnight at someones house. It just has everything I need in it and the quality of UDs eyeshadows are always great so I know I won't be disappointed.

Next I'm bringing my Smashbox Soft Lights in Prism as it can be used as a highlighter but it also gives a soft pink glow to my cheeks. I'm also bringing along my Natural Collection Blush in Pink Cloud because it goes with everything and you can never go wrong with a matte pink blush.

Base wise I'm bringing my usual trio. I reach for my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer everyday so that definitely has to come along with me and I'm bringing my Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer as well as it is good at cancelling out a bit of my discolouration. Finally in the trio is my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which I always use to set my concealer.

For the rest of my eyes products I'm firstly bringing my UD Primer Potion which I always use when wearing eyeshadow and I'm also bringing a eyeshadow base, the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I find this intensifies my eyeshadow more, not that the UD eyeshadows are lacking in pigment. For Mascara I'm bringing along my current favourite which is the VIVO VPL*, it gives me length, volume and it stays all day, everything I could possibly need for my lashes! Finally eyeliner wise I'm just taking my Rimmel Scandal Eyes Liner in Nude to brighten my eyes.

For lips I'm firstly taking my L'Oreal Shine Splash in Lolita as it is long lasting and gives a gorgeous raisin pink colour to my lips. I'm also taking a new product of mine that the lovely Jayne sent to me, the Seventeen Lip Crayon. I've been dying to try this so can't wait to use it over the weekend.

Finally I'm taking my Primark Eyelash Curlers and another little beauty that Jayne sent me, a mini L'Occitane Hand Cream which I am drying to try as I have such dry hands!

So, that is everything I'm taking, hope you enjoyed this post!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x
