This weekend just gone I went to my grandparents and got back at lunchtime today. I had no access to the internet for the weekend and it was refreshing and nice to just step back for a few days. I did have posts scheduled which you all seemed to enjoy though. I did do a tad bit of shopping over the weekend though, mostly for my Sixth Form induction but I thought I'd still show you what I picked up.
Firstly in New Look I bought a basic grey dress for my Sixth Form Induction. It doesn't look too fab on the hanger but it does look nice on, I'm planning on pairing this with a nice necklace to make it a little less plain. We have to wear a more casual version of office wear to Sixth Form so everything is a bit boring and plain but I'm planning to dress it up with jewellery. This was £13.
The second item I got from New Look is this Blazer which was £25. Primark had something similar for only £11 but they didn't have my size! This is made of thinner material as blazers look so boxy and general not so nice on me as I have a smaller frame and anything fitted looked horrible because of my back. After a lot of stress I settled with this one.
Finally on the fashion front I bought this dress from Primark. It was supposed to come with a belt but it was missing so I asked if they could reduce it and they took it down to £10 from £13! Always ask for a reduction is there is something missing from a piece of clothing. I really like this despite it showing off the curve in my spine more than any other piece of clothing I own.
Over the weekend I've become OBSESSED with Ice Tea after finding Arizona Ice Tea in a Chinese supermarket. It was £2 so I was determined to find a cheaper version! In a International kind of local shop I found Lipton Tea in lots of different flavours so my grandparents treated me to 4, I'm drinking the Mango one at the moment and I love it!
Finally the best bargain of the weekend was from Dunelm Mill. Their sale ended yesterday so we decided to pop there on Saturday to catch the end of it and I picked up this gorgeous duvet set for only £2.49! It came with the duvet cover and a pillowcase, I love the pattern and still can't believe how cheap it was!
Did you buy anything over the weekend?
Thanks for reading,
Shona x
