June Beauty Favourites!

This month I haven't got too many beauty favourites but I still thought it was worth sharing them with you as lots of the products are new to my collection! This month the lovely Jayne from WhatJLoves sent me a box full of goodies and nearly everything featured in this post was sent to me by her! I wasn't sure whether to do a post showing what she sent me as it might be seen as bragging but if that is something you'd like to see then let me know in the comments!

This month I've gone from not doing anything with my brows to getting into a little routine all thanks to the MUA Pro Brow Kit that Jayne sent me. I firstly brush my brows through with the Fraulein 3.8 Eyebrow Brush* to give them their general shape. Then I turn to my MUA Brow Palette and I use the top right light brown shade with a little of the darker brown mixed in. The light brown shade is perfect for my brows and it looks a bit similar to MAC's Omega! To fill in my brows I use the Real Techniques Brow Brush which is perfect for the job! Then I give my brows another brush through and use the LOOK Beauty Fixing Gel* from the brow kit they do. I find this works for me and I'm so happy I now have this MUA Brow Kit!

Next up is another MUA product that Jayne sent me, she knows me well! I'm a keen fan of their Every Lash mascara so I was very excited to try out the Mega Volume Mascara! I have really enjoyed using this in June, it makes my lashes a lot longer and thicker! I do have on bug with it though, it does flake a bit towards the end of the day but it is nothing a makeup wipe or tissue can't fix! But, I don't have a mascara that gives my lashes as much volume as this one so I let the problem slide, I'll see how things go though!

Finally these last two products were also sent to me by Jayne, she's lovely isn't she! First up is this Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Polish in Blue no blues. I featured this in my recent NOTD and everyone seemed to love it just as much as me! The colour is gorgeous and so summer appropriate! Finally I've been loving the L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream. This is quite thick meaning you don't need much as a little goes a long way. I find it really moisturises my hands well and it is the perfect size for my bag!

That's it for this month, I'd love to know some of your favourites!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x

    1. I use the Soap and Glory hand food as well, the l'occitane one is definitely thicker so I tend to use it more at home as it takes a bit longer to sink in but when I'm out and about I'll use S&G xx
