We are now officially in the season of Spring, despite the fact its taking its time to show its face. I thought I'd share with you some shades that I think are perfect for spring, starting with oranges! I've found I have more products in this shade then I thought I did!
I own a few different orange nail polishes with Seventeen's Lasting Finish in Tropical Island being my favourite. I'd also recommend Essie's Fear and Desire and Barry M's Block Orange. Bright nails are a great way to make a statement without being too bold.
Revlon's Balm Stain in Rendezvous is the most orange lip product I've seen on the highstreet, it might be a balm but you can build it up a lot to the shade seen in the picture. If this is still too much for you then check out Rimmel's offering.
The Rimmel Apocalips in Luna is a creamy peachy orangey shade and its become a favourite shade of mine, despite thinking I could never wear a colour like it! You can build it up to be stronger than this but this is the level I like it at.
For cheeks I'd really recommend Revlon's Cream Blusher in Pinched. Its sheer but buildable and really creamy! I find it brightens up my complexion a lot, with it being sheer as well it means that its difficult to put too much on. Also its easy to blend due to its cream texture and it dries to a powder once on your skin so your skins won't look wet or too dewy.
Benefit Cha Cha Tint is great for cheeks as well. I find that when I put it on my lips is leans more dark pink than orange. On the cheeks it gives a really nice glow but you do have to be careful with this product as it is a stain. Personally I prefer the Revlon Blusher over this.
Sorry that there are no pictures of me wearing the cheek products, I tried but its super difficult to photograph blushers on!
I never expected to love orange/coral shades so much, I'll be sporting them all spring/summer!
Would you wear an orange toned lip?
