A while back I won a giveaway on the gorgeous Sal's blog and originally I won the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer but they discontinued that so Sal picked me out a little surprise smashbox product and boy did she pick perfectly!
I love my highlighter and blusher and the Soft Lights Highlighter/Blush in Prism combines the two perfectly!
This is a pink toned highlighter that is jam packed with glitter goodness! I have pink toned skin (I think...?) so this goes well with the undertones of my pale face. Its very pigmented so I use a light hand when I attack my face with the sparkly goodness it beholds!
I have grown to LOVE highlighters over the past few months and I love the effect it gives to my face, makes me look a bit more three dimensional, especially as I usually opt for a matte finish to my skin.
This baby will set you back a rather hefty, in my eyes anyway, £23. Now the question is do I think its worth that? I love it, honestly I do and I really enjoy wearing it but I won't be repurchasing it. Even if I had a job I don't think I would because I have drugstore highlighters that I really love as well. Also you all know what I'm like when it comes to high end products, I'd rather spend the money on a few high street/drugstore products!
Do you like the look of this sparkly pan of pink glittery madness?
Thanks for reading,
Shona x

DeleteCan't wait to see it with a full face! Too bad you never got the primer!! Did you check if the neighbours got it?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're happy with this product too :)
Great review!
Xx
I tried to take pictures with it on for this post but highlighter is so difficult to photograph, will definitely do a FOTD wearing it though :) I know, we did and no one had it, a postie must have nicked it or it must have got lost :( Oh well, I love my replacement! xx
DeleteIt looks sooo beautiful! I've never tried Smashbox, but this item is making me want to! I love blushes that give a glow to the skin, and tihs product also looks really universal as with darker skin tones, it could be used as a highlight!
