Polka Dots // NOTD, How-To and Bargain Nail Dotting Tool!

Recently my lovely mum bought me a nail dotting tool from Avon, it was half price and I think she was just sick of me whining that I couldn't buy it because of my ban! Anyway, I thought I would show you the first successful nail art I have done with it!

I used the Avon Nail Decoration Tool which is still only £1.50! Even at its full price £3 its not that bad. On one end is a small dotting tool and on the other is a nail art brush!

The base is Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Polish in Watermelon and I used MUA's Nail Polish in All Nude for the polka dots.

Now the first time I attempted to do Polka Dots went disastrously bad but, this meant that the lovely Islay came forward and gave me some advice in the form of a extremely useful picture! Whilst I've mentioned Islay I must advise you to go check out her blog especially if you are a lover of nail art, she has some real nail art skill and her looks are really easy to create!

This guide really helped me and hopefully it will help you too, go and thank Islay for it!

I know I'll be polka dotting my nails a lot now, I can't wait to do it over a pastel colour for Spring!

Thanks for reading,
Shona x
