This month I've definitely stuck with using the same products and haven't particularly strayed from them. This made picking this month's favourites quite easy for once!
Also I've decided to start doing non beauty monthly favourites as well so look out for that posts as well. Today though I'm going to talk about my favourite beauty products, its nearly all makeup!
My go to eyeshadows for February have been Chopper and Tease from my Urban Decay Naked2 Palette. Chopper is a gorgeous shimmery and glittery shade, its like a warmer gold. Tease has been great for a simple eye look, something I've been wearing a lot recently, Its the perfect light matte brown.
My favourite base for February has definitely been the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe. This shade is great for a long wearing base for any neutral eye look. For eyeliner been loving using the 17 Gel Eyeliner in Black on my tightline and the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Liner in Nude on my waterline. Finally mascara, this month I've kind of gone off most of my mascaras but I have been reaching for the VIVO VPL Mascara* quite a lot, it gives me lashes a lot of length.
This month I've been loving the Smashbox Soft Lights Highlighter/Blush in Prism. Its a shimmery highlight but it has pink tones in it so it gives some colour to your cheeks as well. However for face the stand out product for me for this month has to be the Revlon Cream Blush in Pinched. It gives me cheeks a lovely coral glow when used lightly.
This month there has been one lip product that I've been going back to over and over again and that is MACs Lipstick in Angel. Its the perfect pink for me, not too bold but not too light and its a frost lipstick so has a beautiful and slightly shimmery finish!
My favourite brush for February has to be the Real Techniques Contour Brush. This teams up so well with cream blush. Its great for cream blush as you can use the tip to apply the colour and then turn the brush on its side and blend it using the clean side!
Finally I have to include my Soap and Glory Hand Food this is the best Hand Cream I've ever used but unfortunately there isn't much left in it. It moisturises my hands so much and sinks in really quickly. Since using it I've seen a massive improvement in my hands, they haven't been as dry as they usually are!
That's it for this month's favourites, if you want to see some of these products in action then click here to see a recent FOTD.
What products have you enjoyed using in February?
Thanks for reading,
Shona x
I think my favourite product this month is my Rimmel lipstick in Amethyst Shimmer - i've worn it SO much. Plus it smells like raspberries - winner!

DeleteI got the revlon blush and didn't know what brush to use it with! Thanks Shona xxx
ReplyDeleteI used to use my fingers with it but now I've paired it with the RT contour brush I never use my fingers anymore, the brush is amazing for cream blush, one of my favourite makeup duos! xx
DeleteI love reading people's favourites post's, although it always makes me want to go shopping!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving Angel lipstick too, It took me age's to find a perfect lippy but I agree with you on it being a great pink.
Really want to try the RT brushes also, feel like I'm the only one not to have picked them up, everyone seem's to love them so I need to get my own!

DeleteThe Hand Food is nice. I have the large bottle with the pump. If you want to try some other hand creams, I would recommend the Garnier and the Jergens hand creams they are great. For something a bit more upmarket the L'occitane hand cream is lovely and the perfect size 30ml to put in your clutch on a night out.
