Review + Giveaway: Betrousse 'Summer Break' Box *CLOSED*

Today I have a new beauty box to show you, review and also one to giveaway to one of my followers! Now you have probably heard a lot about this new box already but its nice to have lots of opinion right?

Firstly here's a bit of information about Betrousse just in case you have no idea who they are or what their concept is.

Betrousse are different from other beauty boxes because every month they offer a box, which is themed, with all full size beauty products for you to try out. Its also non- subscription, you just buy when one of the boxes catches your eye! All of the boxes have big savings as well with the one I am showing you today costing £19 but worth £109! If that isn't a big enough saving for someone, I don't know what is! Also this beauty box is about trying completely new things, as you will see from the contents of it, you probably haven't heard of the brands, which I think is a good thing as we all want to try something new every now and then and everyone seems to be wanting to tries international products so this is a good chance to do just that!

Onto the box before I make this post too long!

 The products in the box
(I haven't tried any of these products yet as I want to be reviewing the box, rather than the products)
Lilas Blanc Secret Eclat Jeunesse (Anti-Wrinkle Day Skincare) 50ml worth £36.50
I think putting in a anti-wrinkle or anti-ageing product in a beauty box is always going to be a gamble, it doesn't cater for everyone but I think for one out of 5 or 6 items its acceptable to throw a product like this in as it will appeal to many people. Without talking about the actual product too much, the packaging is beautiful!

Orhis Nourishing Face Cream 50ml worth £28
This was definitely a good product to put in as it kind of counteracts the anti-wrinkle cream if that doesn't cater for you. Also it seems to be a pretty natural product with the back of the product full of information about how there are no parabens, no animal testing etc. So far I think the box is full of variety which I love. No one wants to open a box to see 5 different brands of body lotion that all do the same thing right?
Cinq Mondes Roses Petal Rain Mist 200ml £28
When I opened the box this product seemed all to familar. Now where had I seen it before? Caudalie popped into my head as I read the handy little information card that came with the box. This product is a refreshing spray which definitely fits in with the boxes theme. This was one of my favourites as lots of different compaines are coming out with caudalie dupes and although this one may still be expensive I like that Betrousse are offering us something different not just the same old things that people have been raving about.
Cosmetoo Nails (Nail stickers, Rhinestones and a stick of boxwood) £3.90
I felt like this was a kind of last minute 'I have no idea what else to put in the box' item. Some nail stickers, sparkly children's craft things and a bit of wood don't really wow my mind. This was definitely not one of my favourites and although the boxwood stick will come in handy I think this product lets the box down a bit.
Benta Berry G-1 Moisturizing Face Cream 30ml £12
By this time I was getting a bit bored of the face creams. I can see the logic of putting this item in the box though as it is significantly cheaper than the other face creams that are in the box so I suppose again it caters for another group of people, which is good there is variety but I would have preferred a few more non face cream items.
Finally a little Shower Gel sample, which always comes in handy for holidays or staying over at someone's house so this was another favourite, especially as it was a extra!
You get a handy little card telling you the products and their prices and on the other side a little letter.

MY OVERALL OPINION:
Overall I think this box definitely stands out from the rest and I would recommend it to others. If I had any advice for Betrousse though I would say to maybe mix up the products a bit more and maybe skip the whole nail sticker idea but other than that I can't see any fault. The box is nice (for storage) and it was well presented.
