Review: MUA Every Lash Mascara

Today I have a review for you of new mascara by MUA. If you know me then you know I love MUA and it’s my favourite brand! Recently they have been bringing out lots of new products and this is just one of them!

What do MUA say about it?
Coat your lashes from root to tip with this super silky formula for longer and thicker lashes in a flash, minus the irritating clumping. The multi-comb, silicone wand will catch each individual eyelash whilst defining and separating to create a flirty, fanned out effect. What’s more, the gorgeous apple scent will make it your new makeup addiction!

What do I say about it?

First I really love the packaging; it’s different and stands out from other mascaras.  It makes the product look really professional and worth a lot more than the £3 it costs! It reminds me a little bit of the Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara, but the packaging is still very individual!

This mascara wand is my favourite type of mascara wand as the fibres on the wand catch all your lashes and coat them all evenly meaning no clumping and you won’t get the odd hair that isn’t coated with a good layer of mascara. The wand itself is really flexible as well making application a lot easier.

But my favourite part of the wand has to be the little ball on the end of mascara! It’s perfect for getting those pesky lashes on the inner and outer corners of eyes! It catches them just the same as the rest of the wand does and works just the same. This is a great idea as I usually end up getting mascara all over my face in an attempt to get the small lashes!

Another thing that really impressed me was how waterproof and hard wearing this mascara is! Mine is in the colour Waterproof Black so I expected some level of waterproof-ness from it but not as much as I got! I do my makeup at around 9am and take it off around 8pm so that’s 11 hours of wear. Every day I have worn this mascara it has lasted all day. No smudging or flaking at all and I am sure this mascara could definitely survive a lot longer than 11 hours! I have never had a mascara not smudge on me so this really impressed me!
(only applied on top lashes)

Next the smell! When I thought things couldn’t get any better I had a little sniff of the mascara and it smells exactly like apples! I am a bit of a sucker for products that smell nice so this just added to my happiness with this product! It only smells apple-like in the tube though so don’t worry you won’t be walking around with your eyes smelling like apples all day!

Finally onto whether it achieved what it claims! On the product it says it lengths and adds volume to  your lashes but personally I found it to be mostly lengthening and separating. It does add a bit of volume but I don’t think it does enough to be stated on the product. It does do an amazing job of lengthening and separating your lashes though which makes up for it!

Overall I can confidently say that this is my new favourite mascara and it beats all the ones I have ever tried!

I would definitely recommend you go check it out in Superdrug stores or at www.muastore.co.uk
There are 3 shades to choose from: Ultra Black, Black and Brown/Black

What’s your favourite mascara?

*This product was sent to me by MUA for review consideration but this does not affect my opinion. My opinion is always 100% my own and I will always tell you my true thoughts on the product.
